Saturday Morning

It is Saturday Morning. Penn woke up pretty early this morning and went to get the oil changed in the explorer. Brooke and I slept in. I slept until about 8:30 and Brooke is actually still asleep now. We went to the Encourager's Group last night at the Kitts, so Brooke didn't get to sleep until 11:00PM. We had a nice time at the Kitts learning the Lowdens testimony. Our church family is so awesome and such a great example. We just really do appreciate God leading us to where we are. I guess she is really trying to catch up on her sleep because it is 10:30AM. Penn is now mowing our grass and the neighbor's grass. Ashley has had a bad knee all summer, so Penn volunteered to mow for him. He is now in the hospital with a stomach condition so he is really out of comission. Penn is not fond of doing it because they have a really steep yard. He almost cut off his foot mowing their grass one day. He knows its the right thing to do so he grins and bears it! Penn should be finished mowing around noon and then he will rest. We are trying to think of something FUN to do this evening. It will have to be indoors because the heat in Birmingham is terrible. Yesterday we went to Christy Clements house for playgroup and it was so hot I think I sweated a gallon of sweat. The kids weren't too hot because they played in the sprinkler and baby pools. So therefore today will definitely be indoors unless we decide to venture to the pool. Well I better go cause I hear the little monster stirring. She is saying Mommy, Mommy, Mommy!
